Relaxed in My Center

I feel relaxed in my center
   steady and centered
   at ease with being me

yes
I feel unmasked in my center
   ready from my center
   to reach and still be free

seeing you
   steady in your center
   relaxed in your center
   being yourself with me

yet we're ready
                  passionately
   to blow the quiet
   to have a riot
           to join together
                  ardently
   to have a heady diet
           of luxurious
                  intimacy
   I wouldn't often try it
           it's so unlike my everyday
                  me

but it sure is a pleasure
something that I treasure
                  enormously

yet I still
feel relaxed in my center
   steady in my center
   easy with being me

and then we're moving together
                  emotionally
                  intellectually
                  physically

and then we part for a while
in our steady relaxed style

   to play and to join
   in the evening and the morn
   to know and be known

About This Piece

This is one of my very early pieces. I heard it as a fun easy light piece. It had, in my head, a bit of a melody, kind of 40's.

One day, I have no idea when, I got some other lyrics in my head: not just relaxed in my center, but comfy as a cushion, relaxed as a mushroom.
